Shabbat Rocks! The Kindergarten Version!

We had a wonderful Shabbat Rocks!, our last of the school year, featuring our Kindergarten and Pre-K students, accompanied by the fabulous Song Leader Julie Zorn.  They were toooo cute for words!  Thank you Julie and Jodi, for preparing the students and helping with their presentation.

Scrapbook Pal... for fellow scrap-addicts who like to save money!

Just want to make sure that all of my scrap-buddies know about the amazing deals at Scrapbook Pal.  I went to their booth at CKC-Mesa, and was amazed at their pricing, and friendly customer service.  I was so pleased to find out that they have free shipping on orders $25 or over, because usually the shipping rates make any bargains you find not really worth-it... they have really good pricing on adhesives, especially the My-Stik refills (you can display a photo or element inside your adhesive handle with My-Stik, so everyone at a crop will know that it is yours!).

I placed an order with them recently, and had my items within two days... and free shipping!!

Happy scrapping!

Sensational Simcha Fair and Outstanding Ice Cream!

Today we held the first annual "Simcha Fair," which was one-stop-shopping for planning a Bar or Bat Mitzvah party or special event.  Deb Turner worked extremely hard to organize this wonderful fundraiser for the Kurn Religious School.  Students were able to make their own photo flip-books and try out the "Photo Fun Booth."

We were thrilled to have Isabella's Ice Cream visit us in their old-fashioned wood-paneled ice cream truck.  Yum!  The Kurn Religious School made $1 for each cup of ice cream sold.  Isabella's Ice Cream will be back with their organic, all-natural ice cream on Sunday, May 15th and Sunday, May 22nd.  Don't forget to send your child with $3 for ice cream!

Check back each week for more news from Morah Lori!
